Gasket LP

For the gasket

Dosing machine

The GASKET LP series is a dosing machine with a low flow rate and extremely low pressure levels for dual-component polyurethane gaskets.

Mixing head

The GASKET LP series configured with both an anthropomorphic robot and a cartesian one features the same mixing head.
This is a high-tech head that guarantees high mixing efficiency at low pressure values. The components are pushed into the mixing chamber by the dosing pumps by passing through the opening and closing valves. The latter are operated by an hydraulic circuit that guarantees repeatability and the simultaneous introduction of the components.
The system employs high performance and quiet brushless models with a compact design you can barely during the dispensing stage.

Dosing unit

The dosing unit consists of two volumetric helical rotor pumps that take the material from two pressurised tanks and convey the respective fluids to the casting head via the double-chamber low-pressure pipes.

Once the operator launches the product dispensing stage, these pumps push the product inside the mechanical mixing head. Its two drawers feature a needle rod and control the opening an closure of the chemical.

The same needle rod cleans the openings to ensure that the chemical can always flow through and the system can then restart.

Cartesian robot

The axes of the cartesian robot consist of an extruded anodized aluminium structure and the sliding elements have hardened guides with cylindrical gothic-arch wheels, while motion is transmitted by means of a toothed belt. There is a lubrication system in place for sliding pads, so with correct use and a sufficiently clean environment, no particular maintenance is required except for routine checks normally scheduled. The three coordinated axes (X, Y and Z) are moved by brushless motors. The cartesian robot is fitted with structures supporting the cable-carrying chains fitted with cables and pipes to ensure the passage of the chemical.
